Sharing your own profile is only half of what ivii does — it's also how you collect other people's info when you meet them. This covers how that exchange works and how to manage everyone you've collected.

How contact exchange works

Whenever someone views your profile — however they got there, whether it's a tap, a QR scan, or your link — they can choose Exchange Contact from the share menu to send you their own details.

1

They open Share Profile on your profile and choose Exchange Contact.

2

They fill in their Name, Phone, Email, and an optional message, then tap Exchange.

3

Their info is saved straight to your Contacts, and both of you get a confirmation email with each other's details.

There's no separate "scan their card" step for you to do — the exchange always happens through this same short web form, regardless of whether they reached your profile via NFC tap, QR code, or a shared link.

Viewing your saved contacts

Your Contacts list groups everyone by when they were added: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, and Older. Anything you haven't opened yet shows a New chip, along with a preview of their message if they left one.

Adding a contact manually

Met someone the old-fashioned way? Tap Add Contact and fill in whatever you have: Name, Phone, Email, Website, Address, Company Name, Job Title, a Photo, and free-form Notes. Nothing here is required except a name.

Viewing & editing a contact

Open any contact to see three groups of info:

  • Contact Info — Name, Phone, Email, Website
  • Meeting Details — where and when you connected (captured automatically during an exchange)
  • Work Info — Company and Job Title

Each field has its own pencil icon to edit it and a trash icon to clear it, so you can fix a typo or fill in something they didn't provide without retyping everything else.

Tap Save to Device on a contact to download them as a standard contact card straight into your phone.

Deleting a contact

Tap the trash icon on a contact and confirm. This removes them completely — there's no undo, so use Save to Device first if you want to keep a copy elsewhere.

There's currently no bulk export for your whole contact list — only one-at-a-time Save to Device downloads. There's also no tagging or folder system; the Notes field and automatic date grouping are what you have to keep things organized.
