Every profile automatically gets its own QR code — handy for print materials, presentation slides, or anywhere a tap isn't practical but a quick scan is.
Finding your QR code
Open QR Code from Card Edit to see it. This is the same code that's printed or embedded on your physical ivii card.
Turning it on or off
A QR Code switch here enables or disables scanning for this specific card. Turn it off and scanning it won't go anywhere — useful if you want to retire an old code without deleting the whole profile.
The QR option in your Share menu is hidden automatically whenever your QR code is turned off, so you won't accidentally hand out a code that doesn't work.
What happens when someone scans it
By default, scanning your QR code opens your full profile — same as tapping your card. But it also respects your other settings:
- If Vcard-only mode is on, scanning it downloads your contact card instead of showing your profile.
- If Direct mode is on, scanning it jumps straight to your top link.
Sharing your QR code
Open the Share menu and choose Share by QR to bring it up on screen — perfect for someone to scan directly off your phone, or for dropping the image into a slide deck or printed card.
