Your ivii profile is what people see when they tap your card, scan your QR code, or open your link. This walks through building it out for the first time and editing it afterward.
Creating your first profile
Right after verifying your account, you're taken straight into profile creation. It's a two-step form.
Step 1 — Your details
Enter your First Name and Last Name.
Choose your Industry Designation from the dropdown — this shows on your profile with a briefcase icon and helps describe what you do.
Step 2 — Choose your username
Your username is your ivii.me — it's the link you'll actually share (ivii.me/yourname), so pick something you'd want to hand out.
Type a Username. It checks availability as you type — letters, numbers, and underscores only.
Leave the ivii.me is currently active toggle on so your link works right away (you can turn this off later if you ever want your link to stop resolving).
Click Create Profile.
Some usernames are reserved (like account, login, and settings) since they'd collide with ivii's own pages — if your first choice is blocked for no obvious reason, this is usually why.
Editing your bio
From Card Edit, you can fill in and update every field on your profile:
- First Name / Last Name (35 characters each)
- Headline — a short line under your name (100 characters)
- Occupation and Company (35 characters each)
- About — a longer bio (500 characters)
- Industry Designation
- Location and Education (35 characters each)
- Skills — add one at a time with the Add button; they show as individual tags
Each text field shows a live character counter as you type. When you're happy with it, click Save — or Cancel to discard your changes.
Adding your profile photo & banner
Open the Upload Images option from Card Edit to set two images:
- Profile Image — your photo or headshot, cropped to a circle.
- Background Image — a wider banner image that sits behind your profile.
Both use a simple crop-and-confirm tool — drag to reposition, adjust the crop box, then save.
